Removing

  • If the control module was replaced, select the "Replace" function for the respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding" or "Guided Functions".
  • Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
  • Remove left luggage compartment side trim cover - arrows  -.

  • Remove nuts - arrows  -.
  • Disconnect connectors - -.
  • Remove Parking Aid Control Module J446 - -.

Installing 

Install in reverse order.

Tightening torque 

Component Nm
Control module to chassis 1.8
