If control module is replaced, select "Replacement" function for appropriate control module in "Guided Fault-Finding" routine.

Use the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051 to do so.

CAUTION:

Switch off all electrical components.
Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

Removing

Remove glove compartment → 68 - INTERIOR EQUIPMENT .

Disconnect all harness connectors - 2 - on Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface J533 - 1 -.

Fit the Protective Cap For Cable Connector VAS 6223/9 - 1 - on to the MOST-Bus connector - 2 -.

Unscrew bolts - arrows - (4 Nm) and remove Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface J533 - 1 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order.
