Test sequence
- Initiate On Board Diagnostic (OBD) of automatic vertical headlight aim control. See Automatic vertical headlight aim control On Board Diagnostic (OBD), initiatingΒ .
Display on VAS 5051:
- In selection -1-, click on the diagnostic function "04-Basic setting".
Display on VAS 5051:
- Enter display group Max. input value = 255
- Select function "001" in button field -2- for "Display group number 001" and press Q button to confirm input.
Headlights are being moved to set position.
Display on VAS 5051:
- Display group 1 System in basic setting
- Headlight Adjusting
Headlights are now in the set position.
- Adjust headlights using VAS5046 headlight adjustment tool.
Display on VAS 5051:
- Press up button -3- to change into display group 002.
- Display group 2 System in basic setting
- Adjusted position adapted
The control module has now learned this position as the adjustment position.
- End function "04 - Basic setting" by pressing <-- button.
