Check DTC Memory (scan tool function 02)
^ Connect Diagnosis and Information System VAS 5051 or V.A.G 1551 Scan Tool (ST) and select "Transmission Electronics" with address word 02. Ignition must be switched on.
Indicated on display:
^ Press buttons -0- and -2- to insert "Check DTC memory"
Indicated on display:
^ Press Q button to confirm input.
The display shows the number of stored DTC's or " No DTC found".
The stored DTC's will be displayed and printed in one after the other.
^ Press (arrow) button.
^ After the last DTC was displayed and printed out, correct malfunctions according to instructions in DTC tables starting.
^ Press (arrow) button.

Notes: After checking DTC memory and correcting DTC's:
^ Erase DTC memory.
