  • Do not reuse fluid you have drained.
  • Hydraulic fluid: Part No. G 002 000

The following list pertains to Fig 1.

  1. Expansion hose 
    • Partial section with line, goes to steering gear
  2. Hex bolt, 6 Nm 
  3. Hex bolt, 9 Nm 
  4. Ignition coils with brackets 
  5. Power steering pump 
  6. Clamp 
    • Always replace
    • Tighten using VAG1275
  7. Intake hose 
    • Marking -P- faces toward pump
  8. Line for intake hose 
  9. Socket head bolt, 22 Nm 
    • Rear mount for power steering pump to bracket
  10. Bushing, slotted 
    • Used to balance out tolerances
  11. Socket head bolt, 22 Nm 
    • Mounting of power steering pump bracket to crankcase
  12. Socket head bolt, 22 Nm 
    • Mounting of power steering pump bracket to crankcase
  13. Socket head bolt, 22 Nm 
    • Front mounting of power steering pump to bracket
  14. Bracket for power steering pump 
  15. Socket head bolt, 22 Nm 
    • Use 3212 special tool to counterhold when loosening or tightening
  16. Belt pulley

    • Always replace
  18. Banjo fitting, 47 Nm
