Multi-function switches, removing and installing: Removing
2004 Audi A6 BaseSECTION Removing
- Adjust steering wheel as far out and up as possible.
- Disconnect battery negative (-) terminal.
- Remove airbag unit
See appropriate Air Bag Restraint Systems article in Restraints.
- Carefully flip airbag unit forward.
- Carefully disconnect electrical connector -2-. See Fig 1.
- Remove screws -1- and -3- (1 Nm).
- Remove switch toward front.
- Remove switch assembly -4- in direction of -arrow-.
