Ignition/starter Switch, Removing And Installing

Removing
- Remove steering column switch:
- Check whether the electrical harness connector at reading coil is disconnected.







- Disconnect harness connector -1- at ignition/starter switch.
- Remove sealing paint from both mounting screws -arrows-.
- Loosen mounting bolts -arrows-somewhat and pull ignition/starter switch out of steering lock housing -2-.

Installing
Installation is reverse of removal, note the following:

NOTE: Make sure ignition/starter switch and lock cylinder are both in the same position, for example "ignition on" when installing.







- Secure mounting bolts -arrows-at steering lock housing -2- with sealing paint.
