Read Measuring Value Block (Function 08)

NOTE:

- To test speed signal push the vehicle several meters (more than 5 km/h) with the ignition switched on.
- With ignition switched off connect VAS 5051 Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System with VAS 5051/1 diagnostic cable to 16-pin data link connector on vehicle. Connecting VAS 5051 Tester
- Switch ignition on or start engine.
- Select "Auto" operating mode on A/C Control Head -E87-.
- Select "Address word" 08 for A/C heater/electronics. Connecting VAS 5051 Tester

Indicated on display of VAS 5051:







- Check DTC memory. Displaying & Reading Trouble Codes
- Press buttons -0- and -8- to select "Read Measuring Value Block" function 08.

Indicated on display of VAS 5051:







- Display field -1- indicates request to input display group.
- Display field -2- shows input keyboard.

- Input via the keyboard in display field -2- the desired display group (e.g. "001" or "01") overview of display groups numbers which can be selected and accept by touching the Q-button.

- Display field -1- shows the selected display group.
- Display field -2- shows the values of the four display fields:
- The value of display field -1- is shown in the first row.
- The second, third and fourth rows show the value of the respective display fields.
- If a display field is not assigned, no display occurs in this row.







- By touching button -3- you can switch to another display group.
- You can switch to another function (e.g. from "Basic setting" to "Read Measuring Value Block" and back) by touching button -4-.

- Input display group number; overview of display group numbers which can be selected.
