Rearview Mirror With Compass, Calibrating

- North America







Setting of North is integrated in rearview mirror via a world-zone dependent magnetic field.
The compass directions N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W and NW are shown in the digital display.
A new rearview mirror, or a rearview mirror which has had no current for a long period of time, must be calibrated anew (nothing or a "C" appears in display).

New compass, calibrating
- Switch on ignition.
- "C" must appear in the display.
- If there is no "C", press adjustment switch on underside of mirror using a thin object (e.g. pencil) until it appears in display.
- Drive slowly at approx. 10 km/h around in a circle 2 to 3 times until a compass direction is displayed.
- Press adjustment switch on underside of mirror using a thin object (e.g. pencil) until the number of your zone appears in display.
- Refer to the adjacent card for your zone.
- A compass direction appears in the display after a few seconds.

Calibration of an already existing compass
- Switch on ignition.
- "C" must appear in the display.
- If there is no "C", press adjustment switch on underside of mirror using a thin object (e.g. pencil) until it appears in display.
- Drive slowly at approx. 10 km/h around in a circle 2 to 3 times until a compass direction is displayed.

Zone adjustment
- Switch on ignition.
- Press adjustment switch on underside of mirror using a thin object (e.g. pencil) until the number of your zone appears in display.
- Refer to the adjacent card for your zone.
- A compass direction appears in the display after a few seconds.
