- Check coding and correct if necessary. See READ MEASURING VALUE BLOCK (FUNCTION 08)Β (the current valid code will be shown in the Read Measuring Value Block) and A/C CONTROL HEAD -E87-, CODING (FUNCTION 07)Β .
- DTC memory checked. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) MEMORY, CHECKING (FUNCTION 02)Β . For displayed malfunctions eliminated and DTC memory displayed, see DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) MEMORY, ERASING (FUNCTION 05)Β .
- Control module with indicator unit in instrument panel insert -J285- is coded according to specification and adapted. See A/C CONTROL HEAD -E87-, CODING (FUNCTION 07)Β .
- Air conditioning switched ON (operating mode "Econ" or "Auto").
