- Check DTC memory of A/C control head -E87- (see DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) MEMORY, CHECKING (FUNCTION 02)Β ) and eliminate all displayed malfunctions.
- Check coding of A/C control head -E87- for vehicle equipment options and correct if necessary. See A/C CONTROL HEAD -E87-, CODING (FUNCTION 07)Β .
Indicated on display of VAS 5051:
- Select "Adaptation" function 10.
Indicated on display of VAS 5051:
- Display field -1- indicates the request to input channel number.
- Display field -2- shows input keyboard.
- Input via the keyboard -8- for channel "8" in display field -2- and accept by pressing the -Q- button. See Fig 3.NOTE:
- If "Function is unknown or cannot be carried out at the moment" is displayed in display field -1-, the following may be the cause:
