Code Control Module (function 07)

2001 Audi A6 Avant QuattroSECTION Code Control Module (function 07)

If a control module with traction control function (ASR) is replaced, or if one of the following codes are stored in the DTC memory of the control module, the control module must be coded according to the type of engine and transmission.

  • "ABS/EDL/transmission - electrical connection"
  • "Control module incorrectly coded"
  • "CAN-Bus - message missing from transmission control module"
NOTE:
  • The coding can only be performed if a workshop code is stored in VAG 1551 scan tool.
  • The 5-digit coding will appear when the control module identification is displayed.
