NOTE:
- Start by switching off ignition; re-start V.A.G 1551, if necessary.
- Output Diagnostic Test Mode can only be performed with vehicle stationary and engine stopped.
- If Output Diagnostic Test Mode detects a malfunction, locate and correct cause of problem, if necessary.
The following control elements are consecutively actuated in the test:
- Actuation of hazard warning lights
- Actuation of interior monitor (actuated even if there is no interior monitor)
- Actuation of hazard warning lights and interior lighting for checking crash signal
- Actuation of central locking warning lamp (cannot be seen)
- Triggering of close central locking function
- Activation of door lock isolation
- Actuation of open central locking function
