NOTE:
- Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) may only be performed with the vehicle stationary and the engine not running.
- Any malfunctions identified by Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) must be traced and eliminated, and where necessary, any corresponding DTCs erased.
Output DTM activates/checks the following components:
- Loudspeaker
- Emergency (back-up) loudspeaker
- OnStar(R) system status LED
- Central locking - lock/unlock signal
- Emergency flasher
- Horn

When to See a Mechanic
