1999 Audi A8 BaseSECTION Notes
NOTE:
- After the car has been parked for a lengthy time and/or after replacing the central locking system pump, the central locking system must be operated several times before it will function properly.
- When the system is operating correctly, all locks will close within approx. 2 seconds. If the pump operates for longer than 5 seconds there is a leak in the system. When there is a leak in the system, the pump must not run for more than 30 seconds, after which the control module in the central locking system pump must switch off the pump.
- All the lock actuators, as well as front and rear distributors, are equipped with vacuum line connectors that lock when connected.
