Work procedure
1999 Audi A8 BaseSECTION Work procedure
- Remove front seat. See FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Electrical wiring -2- and -3- removed from connector -4-. See Fig 1.
- Disconnect connectors -1-.
- Pull out connecting wire -5- with VAS1978 from connector housing -6-.
- Remove wiring from seat frame.
- Remove bolt -6-. See Fig 2.
- Tightening torque: 20 Nm (15 ft.lb.)
- Slide guide rail slightly to back (arrow).
- Unhook guide rail from below.
