Safety Warning
DIY auto repair can cause serious injury, fire, or vehicle damage. These guides are for informational purposes only. Always follow OEM torque specs, wear PPE, and consult a certified mechanic if you are unsure. You are solely responsible for your safety.
Adaptation (function 10): Notes
Use this function on vehicles from m.y. 2002 to initiate and store the following changes:
- Adapt (enable/disable) vehicle speed display in radio.
This feature is used primarily for Driving School vehicles
- Transport Mode - activate/deactivate.
The radio system is disabled (switched-off) when Transport Mode is activated. This is necessary to reduce battery drain when vehicles are transported over long distances or stored for longer periods of time.
- Adapt (enable/disable) Long-wave reception (where applicable).
Individual functions are called up using the appropriate channel number from adaptation table. See Adaptation table:Β .
