Note: Do not use sensor that has been dropped (the permanent magnet will break if it is dropped).
Removing
^ Remove oil pan, refer to Flid Pan, A/T, Service and Repair.
^ Remove transmission VSS -2-.
Installing
^ Install transmission VSS -2-, together with spacer sleeve -1- (height: 8 mm).
^ Change or top off ATF after repair.
Tightening torques
