Closed Throttle Position (CTP) Switch, Adjusting
Adjusting
- Remove throttle body to adjust CTP switch.
NOTE: When adjusting the CTP switch, the Throttle Position (TP) sensor is adjusted at the same time.
- Loosen both CTP switch mounting screws.
- Rotate CTP switch in direction shown (arrow) until reaching stop. While doing so, do not depress accelerator pedal.
- Tighten CTP switch in this position.
