Read Measuring Value Block (function 08)


NOTE:
- For control head having pad number up to Index "K" 19 measuring value blocks with 4 measuring values are provided.
- For control head having pad number up to Index "M" 22 measuring value blocks with 4 measuring values are provided.
- The readout which appears is either the actual or specified value valid at that moment, or the value for end stops of individual motors that was programmed and stored during the last basic setting.
- The position of the flaps can be altered by operating the push-buttons of -E87-.
- Before reading the measuring value block, check DTC memory, repair any malfunctions which are displayed and then erase DTC memory.
- Changes to model year 2000 > vehicles.
- If a malfunction is detected at an actuator motor (-V68-, -V71-, -V102 etc,) during basic setting, A/C control head -E87- with part number as of index "M" enters a replacement value for the impact which is not being reached. The malfunction "adaptation limit exceeded" is stored in DTC memory and the replacement value for this actuator motor will be displayed in the respective measured value block (the actual value for this engine will not be displayed).

Initiating read measuring value block
- Start engine.
- Set "AUTO" mode on the A/C control head -E87- (compressor is switched on).
- Connect VAG1551 Scan Tool, insert address word 08 "AC/Heating Electronics" and move forward in the program until "Select function XX" is displayed. Scan Tool Connecting and Initial Checks

- If the printer's switched on, the current readout in the display is printed out on paper strip.
- The position of the flaps can be altered by operating the push buttons on -E87- also during OBD.
