- Voltage supply as well as fuses for the respective system are OK
- V.A.G 1551 Scan Tool connected. Refer to "Scan Tool Connecting And Initial Checks/Scan Tool Testing", Connecting" under "Restraint Systems", Testing and Inspection

- Enter "35" for address word "Central locking" and confirm entry with Q key.

- Code 16140 Control module code
- WSC 12345 Workshop Code of V.A.G 1551 which was used to perform the last coding
- Press -> key.
