Before working on the electrical system, disconnect the battery Ground (GND) strap!
NOTE:
- Obtain radio code before disconnecting battery.
- Be sure to activate vehicle features (radio, clock, electric window regulator, engine) when the battery is re-connected.
CAUTION!
- To avoid contact corrosion, use only approved screws, nuts, washers, etc.
- These elements have a special surface coating, and can be recognized by their green color.
- These screws must also be kept separately.
