Removal & Installation - M/T: Adjustments

- Remove components necessary to gain access to driveshaft. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
. Install alignment fixture (3139) and tighten plastic nuts. Remove center bearing bolts and shims. Measure gap between center bearing support and body. Ensure gap is equal on both sides. Determine shims required. See DRIVESHAFT SHIM

Center bearing support between marks and install shims and bolts. Remove alignment fixture and reinstall components. Tighten nuts and bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
