Measuring Value Block

1996 Audi A4 Base, StandardSECTION Measuring Value Block
  1. Check Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) memory. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE MEMORYΒ  . Repair A/C system malfunctions (if any). After checking DTC memory, keep engine running and turn A/C system to AUTO mode. Run fan at high speed for about one minute.
  2. Ensure scan tester is in A/C/HEATING ELECTRONICS function. With RAPID DATA TRANSFER displayed on scan tester, press "0" and "8" buttons to select READ MEASURING VALUE BLOCK function. Press "Q" button to enter input.
  3. With ENTER DISPLAY GROUP NUMBER displayed on scan tester, enter desired display group number. See DISPLAY GROUP NUMBER IDENTIFICATION TABLE. Press "Q" button to enter input.
  4. With READ MEASURING VALUE BLOCK X displayed on scan tester, check component function, measured value or operating conditions using display field reference. See DISPLAY GROUP NUMBER IDENTIFICATIONΒ  . To select a different display group number, press "C" button. Press right arrow button to end procedure.
