Test Equipment
1996 Audi A4 Base, StandardSECTION Test Equipment
Following test equipment is required to diagnose and test system. DO NOT test system without proper equipment.
- Pressure Gauge Set (VW 1310). Used to check hydraulic modulator pressures.
- ABS Tester (VAG 1710) with Adapter Plug (VAG 1710/1). See Fig 1 . ABS tester has program selector switches, indicator lights, Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) and analog gauge readouts. ABS tester checks operation of ABS control unit, system components and wiring harness.
- Digital Multimeter (US 1119). Used to check system voltage and resistance values.
