Fuel Injector Resistance Test

1996 Audi A4 Base, StandardSECTION Fuel Injector Resistance Test

Turn ignition off. Disconnect fuel injector harness connector. Using a DVOM, measure resistance across fuel injector terminals. See FUEL INJECTOR RESISTANCEΒ  table. If resistance is not within specification, replace fuel injector.

FUEL INJECTOR RESISTANCE

Application (1) Ohms
1.8L Turbo (A4) (2) 11-13
2.7L Turbo & 2.8L (A4 & S4) (2) 13.5-15.5
(1) Measurement taken at room temperature, (approximately 68 Β°F).
(2) Add 4-6 ohms if injector is at operating temperature.
