1995 Audi 90 Quattro Sport V6-2.8L (AAH)SECTION Read Measuring Block Value Overview
The "Read Measuring Value Block" function is an effective troubleshooting aid. The display groups are used for troubleshooting driveability problems and special component malfunctions. A number of actual values can be checked under the current operating conditions of the vehicle.
Measuring block values are displayed in 10 display fields (display group 000) or in four display fields (display groups 001 to 022)
When display groups 001 to 022 are shown, the physical units such as RPM or °C are also displayed.
Values and specifications in each display field are identical to those for "Basic Setting" function 04, except the EVAP cannister purge control valve is fully operational.
If display groups are selected that are not assigned (e.g. 23-98), "Function is unknown or cannot be carried out at the moment" will be displayed.
Operation with Oxygen Sensor control switched OFF is possible as a special case in display group 099.
Possible operating conditions:
^ Ignition switched ON (engine NOT running)
^ Closed throttle position (idle, engine warm)
^ Vehicle under load (test drive)
CAUTION!:
When test driving the vehicle to evaluate or troubleshoot, always use a second person to operate VAG Scan Tool.
The measuring values should first be read and printed out with "Read Measuring Value Block" function 08.
If necessary for troubleshooting the measuring values can also be displayed and printed out in "Basic Setting" function 04 (e.g. oxygen sensor learning values). When function 04 is selected, the influence of the EVAP canister among other things, is ruled out).
