Values and specifications in each display field are identical to those for "Basic Setting" function 04, without the learning functions.

For display group numbers 001 through 019 the display will show the respective display group numbers without the zeroes.

Requirements

- Engine coolant temperature 85°C (185°F) minimum

- A/C switched ON

- The two positive crankcase ventilation hoses on the cylinder head covers must not be disconnected when using the "Read Measuring Value Block" function.

Procedure

- Connect VAG 1551 scan tool. Refer to Connecting and Operating VAG 1551 Scan Tool With MMS 300 Engine Management System

- Advance through program until display appears as shown:

- Select function code.

- Press 0 and 8 buttons to select function 08 "Read Measuring Block Value"

- Display will appear as shown:

- Press Q button to enter input

- Display will appear as shown:

- Select the desired display group based on the display group overview. Refer to Display Group Overview. Display Group Overview

- Display group 001 is used here as an example.

- Press buttons 0, 0, 1 to select display group 001

- Press Q button to enter input

- Display will appear as shown:

NOTES:

Before selecting additional groups press the "C" button.

If the printer is switched ON, the current display will be printed out.

The current display will be printed out each time the PRINT button is pressed.

If the specified values are obtained in all channels.

- Press the "Arrow" button

- Display will appear as shown:
