A/C Control Head, Replacement

1995 Audi 90 Quattro Sport V6-2.8L (AAH)SECTION A/C Control Head, Replacement
- To switch from °C to °F or vice versa, press and hold down the recirculation button and at the same time press the temperature "+" button.
- If 71 °F (22 °C) is always displayed after switching the ignition on and off, regardless of last temperature setting, check voltage supply (terminal 30) to A/C control head -E87- according to wiring diagrams.
- Before removing A/C control head, check Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)memory for Automatic Climate Control. Testing and Inspection
- Switch ignition off.

A/C Control Head and Trim Plate:





- Carefully pry off trim plate -A-.
- Remove 2 screws -B-.
- Remove A/C control head from console.

Connector:





- Press connector locking tabs (lower arrow) and remove connector from control head in direction indicated (upper arrow)
- Install in reverse order of removal.

After installing:
- Check A/C control head coding. Testing and Inspection
- Initiate "Basic Setting" function 04 for Automatic Climate Control. Testing and Inspection
