Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor
Disconnect CKP sensor connector (located on left side of cylinder block). Measure resistance between specified terminals of CKP sensor connector. See Fig 1 . See CKP SENSOR RESISTANCE table. If resistance is not as specified, replace CKP sensor. If resistance is as specified, check wiring between CKP sensor and PCM. If wiring is okay, replace PCM.
