Catalytic Converter Inspection: Inspection
2015 Acura TLX Base, 2.4L EngSECTION Inspection
- TWC - Remove
- Remove the warm up TWC - Refer to: Warm Up TWC Removal and Installation (V6), or Warm Up TWC Removal and Installation (L4)
- Remove the under-floor TWC - Refer to: Under-Floor TWC Removal and Installation (L4), or Under-Floor TWC Removal and Installation (V6, Without SH-AWD), or Under-Floor TWC Removal and Installation (V6, With SH-AWD)
- TWC - Inspect
1. Plug up the hole (s) (A) other than main exhaust gas route 2. Using a flashlight (B) visually check for plugging, melting, or cracking of the catalyst. Replace the TWC if any of the visible area is damaged or plugged.
