Possible Cause
  • Open or Poor connection between the VSA modulator-control unit and the CAN gateway (F-CAN_H, F-CAN_L lines)* 1
  • Open or Poor connection between the CAN gateway and the steering angle sensor (F-CAN_H, F-CAN_L lines)* 1
  • Open or Poor connection between the VSA modulator-control unit and the CAN gateway (F-CAN A_H, F-CAN A_L lines)* 2
  • Open or Poor connection between the CAN gateway and the steering angle sensor (F-CAN A_H, F-CAN A_L lines)* 2
  • Open or Poor connection between the steering angle sensor and the under-dash fuse/relay box (IG1 VSA/ABS line) *3
  • Open or Poor connection between the steering angle sensor and the under-dash sub fuse/relay box B (IG1 VSA (DC) line) *4
  • Open or Poor connection between the steering angle sensor and body ground (GND line)
  • Steering angle sensor internal failure
  • VSA modulator-control unit internal failure
