Automatic Brake Hold
With automatic brake hold, retention of a stopped state by the main brakes is maintained even when brake pedal is released. There is no need to keep depressing the brake pedal while stopping in heavy traffic or at traffic lights. As the accelerator pedal is pressed, the automatic brake hold feature is cancelled and returns to the stand by mode. If the automatic brake hold features is applied for an extended time (approx.10 minutes), the electric parking brake will engage to hold the vehicle.
