Self-Diagnostic Function
The Auto High-Beam has a self-diagnostic function. If a malfunction of the Auto High-Beam detects a problem while in operation, a warning message is displayed on the multi-information display (MID), the Auto High-Beam stops operating, and stores DTCs.
The Auto High-Beam operates while maintaining a mutual connection between the multipurpose camera unit at the control origin and the other control units (relay control module, MICU, gauge control module, automatic lighting/rain sensor, etc.). If malfunctions occur in these control unit systems, the backward leaving support does not operate. At this time, warning indicator of the related control unit turn on and a warning message is displayed on the multi-information display (MID).
