NOTE:
  • Put on gloves to protect your hands.
  • Take care not to scratch the dashboard and related parts.
  • Lay a shop towel under the parts when working on them to protect the face panel from scratches or other damage.
  • Eject all the discs before removing the audio-navigation unit to prevent damaging the CD/DVD player's load mechanism.
  • Discharge static electricity from your body before and during the work.
  1. Remove the audio-navigation unit (see AUDIO-NAVIGATION UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  2. Remove the interface dial (see INTERFACE DIAL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).

    Do not touch the terminal connector (A) of the audio-navigation switch panel with your bare hands (if you have touched it, wipe it off thoroughly).

  3. Install the audio-navigation switch panel in the reverse order of removal.
