2012 Acura TL BaseSECTION Message Delete Procedure (Service Tech)
  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode.
  2. Touch OK on the disclaimer screen.
  3. Press and hold the DEST/ROUTE, the MAP/GUIDE, and the CANCEL buttons at the same time for 3 seconds more, and the system diagnostic mode begins.

  4. Using the interface dial, spinet the XM (HIP) from the Detail Information & Setting, and press the ENTER. Select XM (HIP) Diag (A) front the XM (HIP) System Link.

  5. Select Diagnostic Info.
  6. Select the item you want to delete. After the message and date come up, select Delete.
  7. Select Yes to confirm your choice.
  8. Repeat step Β 6 and Β 7 for each message you want to delete.
