Cylinder Head

After torquing, tighten all cylinder head bolts in two steps (90°per step). If you are using a new cylinder head bolt, tighten the bolt an extra 90°

Head Bolt
Measure the diameter of each cylinder head bolt at point A and point B.

If either diameter is less than 10.6 mm (0.42 in.), replace the cylinder head bolt.
Surface Variation
Warpage less than 0.05 mm (0.002 in.) no resurfacing
Warpage between 0.05 mm (0.002 in.) & 0.2 mm (0.008 in.) resurface
Max. resurface limit 0.2 mm (0.008 in.)
based on a height of 104 mm (4.09 in.).

Exhaust Manifold

Tighten the bolts/nuts in a crisscross pattern in three steps, beginning with the inner nut.
