SH-AWD Control Unit Replacement

2008 Acura MDXSECTION SH-AWD Control Unit Replacement
NOTE: The SH-AWD control unit must be initialized (see SH-AWD Control Unit InitializationΒ  ) after replacement, other wise the SH-AWD system will not function.
  1. Remove the rear left side trim panel cover (see TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - REAR SIDE AREA ).
  2. Remove the cargo floor lid and the cargo box (see TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - CARGO AREA ).
  3. Remove the SH-AWD control unit (A).

  4. Disconnect the SH-AWD control unit connectors (B).
  5. Install the SH-AWD control unit in the reverse order of removal.
