Shift Lock Solenoid Replacement
2005 Acura TSX AutomaticSECTION Shift Lock Solenoid Replacement
- Remove the shift lever assembly (see SHIFT LEVER REMOVAL ).
- Release the shift lock solenoid bushing (A) securing the shift lock solenoid, and remove the shift lock solenoid.
- Install the shift lock solenoid plunger (B) and the plunger spring (C) in a new shift lock solenoid (D).
- Apply silicone grease to the joint of the shift lock solenoid plunger, if necessary.
- Install a new shift lock solenoid by aligning the joint of the shift lock solenoid plunger with the tip of the shift lock stop (E).
- Install the shift lever assembly (see SHIFT LEVER INSTALLATION ).
