SRS Unit: Installation

2004 Acura 3.5RLSECTION Installation
  1. Install new SRS unit. Tighten new Torx bolts to 87 INCH lbs. (9.8 N.m). Connect SRS main harness connector and SRS floor harness connector to SRS unit. See Fig 3 . Install bracket. Install radio/climate control panel assembly. See Fig 2 . Install console panel and automatic transmission (A/T) gear position indicator trim to center console. See Fig 1 .
  2. Activate air bag system and seat belt tensioner system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEMΒ  . After installation, check system for proper operation. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECKΒ  .
