SERVICE INFORMATION
All Acura dealerships were sent three CDs to troubleshoot audio unit sound quality and CD-skipping problems. Make sure you use them before ordering a reman audio unit. Here's the low-down on each CD:
- Audio Diagnostic CD: This CD (P/N 07AAZSDBA100) has different sounds you can use to troubleshoot sound output and quality problems.
- Skip Test CD: This CD (P/N 07AAZ-SDBA200) has fingerprints and other markings to simulate a dirty CD. A good CD player/ changer should be able to play tracks 7 thru 11 and 13 thru 15 of this CD without skipping.
- Skip Test CD: This CD (P/N 07AAZ-SDBA300) has scratches on it. A good CD player/changer should be able to play tracks 2 thru 9 of this CD without skipping.
Most recent S/Ms have several audio sound quality troubleshooting procedures that use these CDs. (Online, enter keyword SOUND , and select from the list.)
