Tension Gauge Method
2004 Acura 3.5RLSECTION Tension Gauge Method
- Attach the appropriate belt tension gauge to the A/C compressor belt and measure the tension.
- Adjust belt to specifications. See A/C COMPRESSOR BELT ADJUSTMENT - TENSION GAUGE METHOD .
- Loosen the center nut of the idler pulley.
- Turn the adjusting bolt to get proper belt tension, then retighten the center nut.
- Recheck the tension of the A/C compressor belt.
