Timing Belt: Inspection

2004 Acura 3.5RLSECTION Inspection

  1. Remove ignition coil cover (if necessary). See Fig 1.
  2. Remove the front upper cover (if necessary). See Fig 2.
  3. Inspect the timing belt for cracks and oil or coolant soaking. Replace the belt if it is oil or coolant soaked. Remove any oil or solvent that gets on belt. See Fig 3.
