Rocker Arm Assembly: Removal
2004 Acura 3.5RLSECTION Removal

- Remove the cylinder head cover. See Fig 1.
- Loosen adjusting screws (A). See Fig 2.
- Remove the bolts and the rocker arm assembly. See Fig 3 and use the following procedure;
- Unscrew the rocker shaft mounting bolts 2 turns at a time, in a crisscross pattern, to prevent damaging the valves or rocker arm assembly.
- When removing the rocker arm assembly, DO NOT remove the rocker shaft mounting bolts. The bolts will keep the springs and the rocker arms on the shafts.
