- Turn ignition switch to ON position. SRS MIL will illuminate for approximately 4 seconds and then go out. If vehicle is equipped with side air bags, SRS MIL will illuminate for approximately 4-20 seconds and then go out.
- If vehicle is equipped with Seat Occupied Recognition (SOR) that includes Automatic Child Seat Recognition (ACSR), the ACSR AIRBAG OFF warning light will illuminate and then go out after approximately 4 seconds if a Mercedes-Benz Babysafe Child Seat is not installed. If a Mercedes-Benz Babysafe Child Seat is installed, AIRBAG OFF warning light will illuminate and verify the recognition of the Babysafe Child Seat.
