Removal & Installation: Struts: Reassembly

2004 Acura 3.5RLSECTION Reassembly

  1. Install strut unit on a commercially available strut spring compressor (A). Assemble strut in reverse order of removal except for washer and self-locking nut. Align bottom of strut spring and spring lower seat (B). See Fig 1 .
  2. Position mount base (A) on strut unit. See Fig 2 . Compress strut spring with spring compressor.
  3. Install rubber bushing, washer (A), and a NEW 10 mm self-locking nut (B). See Fig 3 .
