NOTE: TP sensor is part of throttle body and not serviced separately.

Turn ignition switch on. Using scan tool, check TP sensor. If throttle position is 13.7 percent when throttle is fully opened, problem is intermittent. System is okay at this time. If throttle position reading is not as specified, replace throttle body.
