  • Check fuel pressure. See BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES article.
  • Check throttle cable and throttle body for binding, misadjustment or sticking.
  • Check Throttle Position (TP) sensor. See DTC P0122, P0123, P1121 or P1122 in appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article.
  • On Integra, check Intake Air By-Pass (IAB) control system. See SYSTEM & COMPONENT TESTING article.
  • On 3.5RL, check intake manifold runner control (IMRC) system and intake air duct.
  • Check air cleaner.
  • Check 3-way catalytic converter for restriction.
  • Check Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor. See DTC P0106, P0107, P0108, P1128 or P1129 in appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article.
  • Check engine compression.
