2004 Acura 3.5RLSECTION Reassembly
- Pry back each brush spring with a screwdriver. Position the brush about halfway out of its holder, and release the spring to hold it there. See Fig 1 .
- Install the armature in the housing. Pry back each brush spring again, and push the brush down until it seats against the commutator, release the spring against the end of the brush. See Fig 2 .
- Install the starter and cover (A) to retain the brush holder (B). See Fig 3 .
