Gearshift Lever Position Indicator Input
Remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTERΒ under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect instrument cluster 22-pin connector "A" and 30-pin connector "B". Inspect connectors and terminals. Check for bent, loose or corroded terminals. Perform gearshift lever position indicator input test. See Fig 1 . Repair as necessary and recheck system operation. If gearshift lever position indicator inputs are okay, replace instrument cluster printed circuit board and recheck system.
